Camino de Santiago book and movie

I’ve seen a few weeks ago “The Way” a deeply spiritual and visually satisfying movie about a father who goes for a pilgrimage known as “The Way of Saint James” or “Camino de Santiago”. I strongly recommend the movie that is now available on DVD.

I’ve been wanting to write about the movie, but what prompted me to at least mention it was an email from University of Chicago Press. Every month you can download an e-book of theirs free of charge. (Unfortunately not in Kindle format.) This month’s book is of the same topic as the movie mentioned above: “Pilgrimage to the End of the World: The Road to Santiago de Compostela” by Conrad Rudolph.
